Soundbath
Join us for an experience of deep relaxation as you receive Reiki while listening to the healing sounds of modern sound tools and ancient instruments including crystal and Tibetan singing bowls, tongue drum, gongs, rain sticks, chimes, vocals, and more! You are welcome to sit or lay down and are encouraged to bring whatever you need to feel most comfortable. If you choose to lay down we recommend bringing a yoga mat, pillow, and light blanket. A limited number of mats and pillows will be available for use.
Scientific studies of Sound Healing and Cymatics suggest that sound baths support overall stress reduction and endocrine balance while improving sleep, brain health, and even pain relief. Your facilitators Sunshine and Renee are both experienced Reiki Masters, energy healing practitioners and established performing musicians. Renee is a licensed Registered Nurse.

Treatments
Reiki Sessions - In Person & Online
In Person
Sessions are held at my studio in Binghamton. It is hands-on, with light touch, while you are fully clothed and laying on a massage table. You may lay face down or on your back. Adjustments may be made depending on your comfort.
Online by Zoom or over the phone (30 min)
I'll ask you to settle into a comfortable spot in your home, either laying down or sitting, whichever is more comfortable for you. I then use visualization techniques to send Reiki as if we are in the same room together.
60 min Session - In Person or Online
The session begins in the same way as mentioned above. You may begin laying face down or on your back and will turn over at the appropriate time, if you are able.

House Clearings (Physical Space) - In Person & Online
Reiki is energy, which means that its potential extends beyond the physical body! Reiki can be used to heal/clear your home, office, or other physical space of negative energy and spirits that need help moving on. It can also be used to provide a layer of protection.
In Person or Online
We'll begin with a conversation over the phone or on Zoom so that I can get a sense of your needs and your space. Then, we'll find a time for me to visit your space, either in person or over Zoom, where you will show me around before I get to work. My clearings involve burning sage and using Reiki to clear the energy. If you have sensitivities, other alternatives to sage can be discussed. Clearing sessions normally take about an hour.

Classes
Classes are held at U Wellness in Binghamton, NY. Each 6 hour class provides the required attunements toward becoming a Reiki Practitioner or a Reiki Master. Each Reiki class is $200 each, with the exception of "What is Reiki?"; scholarships and financial aid are available. I offer private and group classes in my studio or wherever is convenient for you. If you are interested in a class and don't see it on the calendar, please contact me.
Reiki II
Reiki II is focused on the Mental and Emotional aspects of Comfort & Well-being. The second degree works with the mental/emotional body’s systems and activates an enhanced capacity for ‘distance healing’ and ‘intuitive/psychic’ awareness.
In Reiki II students learn and practice three Reiki symbols that will enable them to give a distance treatment. Practicing at this level opens up the ability to let more energy flow through. Some students also notice an enhancement of intuitive capabilities.​
Reiki III
Reiki III is focused on the Spiritual and Etheric aspects of Comfort & Well-being. It is the Degree of the Reiki Master/Teacher and works with the spiritual/soul connections. ​The connection with the Ki, Universal Life-Force Energy, is enhanced and allows for an open connection to Spirit.
This is when students learn the methods for giving initiations to pass on the ‘gift of Reiki’ through the process of attunements. Attunements are also used as healing treatments. Students will learn the last two of the five symbols used for passing attunements and will experience the process of passing an attunement before the class ends. You need to complete Reiki I and II before taking Reiki III.

Learn what Reiki is and how it works in this Introductory class. There will be time for questions/discussion, and you will have a chance to experience a mini Reiki session!

Reiki I
Reiki I is focused on Physical aspects of Comfort & Well-being. The first degree works with the physical body. Hand placements for both self-care and the treatment of others are discussed and demonstrated.
Students learn the hand placements for a “full session treatment” which covers the body’s organs, glandular system, nervous system and basic chakra systems. They will be able to give themselves a Reiki treatment and give someone else a hands-on treatment based on the hand placements as shown in the Reiki I training. Students will practice on themselves and others as time allows. You need to take Reiki I before you can take Reiki II
